Four architecture students of Addis Ababa University in collaboration with representatives of the school community designed an overall concept for the reorganization of the school. These costs include the refurbishment of toilets for girls and boys, the renovation of the football pitch with and integrated basketball and volleyball field, a small grandstand, the construction of a covered pavilion for lunch and the paving of the road from the main road up to the classrooms.

On LISTROS DAY the plans were exhibited at Dagmawi Minilik II Primary School. A few days later at the University of Fine Arts they were presented to and discussed in detail with parents, teachers, students, representatives of the school office and the building department of the Addis Ababa city council.

In a second phase the students' team drew up the construction plans, which are an integral part of the official tender to be announced by the official call by the Building Department of Addis Ababa City Council.
