As part of the LISTROS DAY 2012 we are carrying out infrastructural improvements at Dagmawi Minilik II Elementary School.
Questions that have been guiding our work:
- Why are refurbished facilities in schools very quickly left unkempt and vulnerable to decay?
- How can we ensure that our infrastructure improvements will not be prone to the same decay?
- Which targeted measure can guarantee long-term and self-sustaining improvement processes?
- How can sustainable maintenance be planned and, at the same time, promote the self-initiative of the school community?
