LISTROS Association considers art as an important driving force in the process of social change and intercultural dialogue because it offers the chance to repeatedly view the world with different eyes and to tackle limits creatively.

We focus on art and dialogue, because they provide an impetus for a change of perspective thus expediting the process for a confident and prosperous Africa.

Viewing the situation of Ethiopian youth, for example, from an artistic angle shows poverty to have two faces: here the Listros are not the pariahs of Ethiopian society, but young people who exert self-initiative to improve their living conditions. They are symbols of the independent development on the African continent and for the chance to accomplish illustrious achievements with simplest means.
